Our Emerald Mythical Plumes oversized cone lampshade gives its extraordinary peacocks room to strut. Jewel-toned birds, blue butterflies, pale blossoms and dark berries climb across sumptuous green velvet, creating a richly detailed botanical scene that reveals something new from every angle.
The towering tapered shape makes full use of the large-scale artwork, stretching those magnificent plumes and curling stems across an unapologetically dramatic silhouette. This is not a little finishing touch. It is the whole conversation.
Available in Queen and King sizes, our oversized cone lampshades are made exclusively for table and floor lamps. Pair yours with a low, substantial lamp base and let the wildly elegant proportions take over.

MADE TO ORDER
Each Love Frankie lampshade is handmade to order in our Totnes studio. Please allow approximately 4 to 5 weeks for your shade to be made before dispatch.
MATERIALS AND LIGHTING
This oversized cone lampshade is made using beautifully printed velvet bonded to a sturdy white lampshade panel. The tactile velvet pile gives the peacocks, butterflies and botanical details extra depth and keeps the colours beautifully rich.
Light passes gently through the patterned sides of the shade, illuminating the artwork and creating a soft, atmospheric glow.
FITTINGS
Our oversized cone lampshades are designed for table and floor lamps only. They are not suitable for ceiling pendants.
The shade uses an industry-standard 39mm UK/EU ring fitting and includes a removable reducing ring for 29mm UK fittings, making it suitable for most standard UK and European lamp bases.
Oversized cones are not suitable for American-style harp fittings or lamps requiring a shade carrier. Please contact us before ordering if you are unsure whether the shade will fit your lamp.
SIZING
Our oversized cone lampshades are available in two sizes:
- QUEEN: 12" bottom diameter x 7" top diameter x 18" height / 30cm x 18cm x 46cm
- KING: 12" bottom diameter x 7" top diameter x 31.5" height / 30cm x 18cm x 80cm
The King size is pictured unless otherwise stated. Pair these tall cone shades with a short, substantial table or floor lamp base for the best proportions.
PATTERN PLACEMENT
Each lampshade is individually cut from a large-scale patterned velvet. The placement of the peacocks, butterflies, flowers and foliage will vary naturally between shades, making every one slightly different.
SAMPLES
Colours and textures can appear differently across computer and mobile screens. We recommend requesting a free fabric sample before ordering. A maximum of five samples may be ordered per customer. Shipping charges apply.

LAMPSHADE SPECIFICATIONS
Every Love Frankie lampshade is handmade to order in our UK workshop. Here's everything you need to know about fittings, sizing, materials and bulbs before ordering.
LAMPSHADE FITTINGS
Our standard lampshades use a 39mm UK/EU ring fitting and include a reducer ring for 29mm fittings, making them suitable for most standard UK and European lamps and flex sets.
For most designs, you can choose:
Lamp: the ring fitting sits approximately 4cm up from the bottom of the shade.
Ceiling Pendant: the ring fitting sits approximately 4cm down from the top of the shade.
Using an arc floor lamp? Choose the Ceiling Pendant option so the fitting sits at the top.
American harp and lampshade carrier fittings are available on selected designs by request. Please contact us before ordering if you need a specialist fitting.

FABRIC & WALLPAPER SAMPLES
Colours, textures and tones can vary between screens, so we recommend ordering a sample if you're trying to match a particular colour or interior scheme.
You can order up to five free fabric or wallpaper samples, with postage charged separately. Simply look out for the yellow ORDER FABRIC SAMPLE button on your favourite shades.

METALLIC FOIL LININGS
Our gold and copper foil lined lampshades are constructed using three layers: metallic foil, lampshade PVC and your chosen outer fabric or wallpaper.
This opaque construction prevents light from passing through the sides of the shade. Instead, light reflects from the metallic interior, creating a warm, directional glow from the top and bottom.
Larger lampshades have wider openings and will naturally allow more light into the room.
FRINGED LAMPSHADES
Our fringes are available in different lengths depending on the design.
The dimensions shown for the lampshade itself do not include the fringe, so please check the individual product details for the fringe length before ordering.
BULBS
We recommend using LED bulbs with our lampshades.
The correct bulb type and maximum wattage will depend on your lamp base or ceiling fitting, so always check the manufacturer's instructions.
Our lampshade ring fitting does not determine which bulb you need. The bulb is determined by the lamp holder or flex set you're using.

Every Love Frankie lampshade is handmade to order in our UK workshop. Our production time varies throughout the year, so please check the banner at the top of the website for our current lampshade lead time.

All other in-stock items are usually dispatched within 3–5 working days, unless otherwise stated on the product page.

Returns
We hope you love your Love Frankie order, but if something isn't quite right, standard products purchased through our website can normally be returned.
Please contact us within 14 days of receiving your order to let us know you'd like to make a return.
Our standard online lampshades can be returned, even though they're handmade to order. However, bespoke, personalised or specially commissioned items cannot normally be returned unless faulty.
Return postage is the responsibility of the customer unless your item is faulty or damaged.
