Things have escalated beautifully.
Start with black velvet. Add a psychedelic tangle of tropical foliage in hot pink, turquoise, violet, green and acid yellow.
Then add gold inside and Hot Pink fringe underneath.
There was a quieter route available. We ignored it.
The reflective gold metallic lining throws a gorgeous warm light through the top and bottom of the shade, while 10cm of Hot Pink fringe picks up the brightest colours in the print and adds a very satisfying amount of swish.
Available in three drum sizes for table lamps, floor lamps and ceiling pendants.

Our Acid Jungle Velvet Lampshades are handmade using beautifully printed velvet, PVC and a reflective gold metallic lining. The soft velvet pile gives the psychedelic tropical pattern extra depth, while our Hot Pink fringing picks up the brightest pink tones running through the design.
Our metallic-lined lampshades are made using three layers of material. This keeps the hot pink, turquoise, violet, green and yellow colours beautifully rich and vibrant, while preventing light from passing through the sides of the shade. Instead, the light is directed through the top and bottom, where the gold lining reflects it to create a gorgeous warm glow. The bigger the shade, the more light you'll get.

Due to the width of the velvet and the scale of the pattern, our Acid Jungle Drum Lampshades come in three sizes.
12" diameter × 10" height / 30cm × 25cm
14" diameter × 10" height / 35cm × 25cm
16" diameter × 10" height / 40cm × 25cm
Our Hot Pink fringing measures 10cm / 4" and is not included in the lampshade dimensions shown above.
These fringed Drum Lampshades can be used on table lamps, floor lamps and ceiling pendants.

LAMPSHADE SPECIFICATIONS
Every Love Frankie lampshade is handmade to order in our UK workshop. Here's everything you need to know about fittings, sizing, materials and bulbs before ordering.
LAMPSHADE FITTINGS
Our standard lampshades use a 39mm UK/EU ring fitting and include a reducer ring for 29mm fittings, making them suitable for most standard UK and European lamps and flex sets.
For most designs, you can choose:
Lamp: the ring fitting sits approximately 4cm up from the bottom of the shade.
Ceiling Pendant: the ring fitting sits approximately 4cm down from the top of the shade.
Using an arc floor lamp? Choose the Ceiling Pendant option so the fitting sits at the top.
American harp and lampshade carrier fittings are available on selected designs by request. Please contact us before ordering if you need a specialist fitting.

FABRIC & WALLPAPER SAMPLES
Colours, textures and tones can vary between screens, so we recommend ordering a sample if you're trying to match a particular colour or interior scheme.
You can order up to five free fabric or wallpaper samples, with postage charged separately. Simply look out for the yellow ORDER FABRIC SAMPLE button on your favourite shades.

METALLIC FOIL LININGS
Our gold and copper foil lined lampshades are constructed using three layers: metallic foil, lampshade PVC and your chosen outer fabric or wallpaper.
This opaque construction prevents light from passing through the sides of the shade. Instead, light reflects from the metallic interior, creating a warm, directional glow from the top and bottom.
Larger lampshades have wider openings and will naturally allow more light into the room.
FRINGED LAMPSHADES
Our fringes are available in different lengths depending on the design.
The dimensions shown for the lampshade itself do not include the fringe, so please check the individual product details for the fringe length before ordering.
BULBS
We recommend using LED bulbs with our lampshades.
The correct bulb type and maximum wattage will depend on your lamp base or ceiling fitting, so always check the manufacturer's instructions.
Our lampshade ring fitting does not determine which bulb you need. The bulb is determined by the lamp holder or flex set you're using.

Every Love Frankie lampshade is handmade to order in our UK workshop. Our production time varies throughout the year, so please check the banner at the top of the website for our current lampshade lead time.

All other in-stock items are usually dispatched within 3–5 working days, unless otherwise stated on the product page.

Returns
We hope you love your Love Frankie order, but if something isn't quite right, standard products purchased through our website can normally be returned.
Please contact us within 14 days of receiving your order to let us know you'd like to make a return.
Our standard online lampshades can be returned, even though they're handmade to order. However, bespoke, personalised or specially commissioned items cannot normally be returned unless faulty.
Return postage is the responsibility of the customer unless your item is faulty or damaged.
