A whopping great 1970s-inspired cone.
Warm, earthy and somewhere in the delicious hinterland between burnt orange, terracotta and brown, our Rust Velvet has a rich pile that gives the colour even more depth. On this long tapered silhouette it feels unapologetically retro, particularly perched on a short, chunky ceramic or Fat Lava lamp base.
Choose the Queen for a generous 46cm tall cone, or allow the King to take over proceedings at a magnificent 80cm tall. Both have the same 30cm base diameter, so the King simply keeps going.
Rust loves teal, olive, dirty pink, mustard and dark wood.
Give it a bulbous vintage lamp base and somewhere to loom.

Our Oversized Cone Lampshades are handmade using beautifully soft velvet over a classic lampshade PVC. The rich velvet pile gives the colour extra depth and allows it to shift subtly as the light catches it. Unlike our metallic-lined shades, the cones are left unlined so light can gently diffuse through the fabric.
Inspired by the wonderfully exaggerated lighting of the 1960s and 70s, our tall tapered Cone Lampshades are designed to completely change the proportions of a lamp. They work particularly well with short, chunky ceramic bases, vintage lamps, Fat Lava pottery and statement floor lamps.
Choose Your Size
Our Oversized Cone Lampshades come in two sizes.
The Queen stands 46cm / 18" tall
The King stands 80cm / 31.5" tall.
Both measure 30cm / 12" across the bottom and 18cm / 7" across the top.
These shades are designed for table and floor lamps only and are not suitable for use as ceiling pendants.

Every Love Frankie lampshade is handmade to order in our UK workshop. Here's everything you need to know about fittings, sizing, materials and bulbs before ordering.
LAMPSHADE FITTINGS
Our standard lampshades use a 39mm UK/EU ring fitting and include a reducer ring for 29mm fittings, making them suitable for most standard UK and European lamps and flex sets.
For most designs, you can choose:
Lamp: the ring fitting sits approximately 4cm up from the bottom of the shade.
Ceiling Pendant: the ring fitting sits approximately 4cm down from the top of the shade.
Using an arc floor lamp? Choose the Ceiling Pendant option so the fitting sits at the top.
American harp and lampshade carrier fittings are available on selected designs by request. Please contact us before ordering if you need a specialist fitting.

FABRIC & WALLPAPER SAMPLES
Colours, textures and tones can vary between screens, so we recommend ordering a sample if you're trying to match a particular colour or interior scheme.
You can order up to five free fabric or wallpaper samples, with postage charged separately. Simply look out for the Yellow ORDER FABRIC SAMPLE button on all your favourite shades.

METALLIC FOIL LININGS
Our gold and copper foil lined lampshades are constructed using three layers: metallic foil, lampshade PVC and your chosen outer fabric or wallpaper.
The opaque construction prevents light passing through the sides of the shade. Instead, light reflects from the metallic interior, creating a beautifully warm, directional glow from the top and bottom.
Larger lampshades have wider openings and will naturally allow more light into the room.
FRINGED LAMPSHADES
Our fringes are available in different lengths depending on the design.
The dimensions shown for the lampshade itself do not include the fringe, so please check the individual product details before ordering.
BULBS
We recommend using LED bulbs with our lampshades.
The correct bulb type and maximum wattage will depend on your lamp base or ceiling fitting, so always check the manufacturer's instructions.
Our lampshade ring fitting does not determine which bulb you need. The bulb is determined by the lamp holder or flex set you're using.

Every Love Frankie lampshade is handmade to order in our UK workshop. Our production time varies throughout the year, so please check the banner at the top of the website for our current lampshade lead time.

All other in-stock items are usually dispatched within 3–5 working days, unless otherwise stated on the product page.

Returns
We hope you love your Love Frankie order, but if something isn't quite right, standard products purchased through our website can normally be returned.
Please contact us within 14 days of receiving your order to let us know you'd like to make a return.
Our standard online lampshades can be returned, even though they're handmade to order. However, bespoke, personalised or specially commissioned items cannot normally be returned unless faulty.
Return postage is the responsibility of the customer unless your item is faulty or damaged.
