The vivid Pumpkin Orange cotton exterior conceals our Summer Meadow floral print in Teal, an abundant botanical velvet filled with pinks, purples, fresh greens and crisp white flowers. Peek underneath and the entire garden is waiting.
During the day, the orange exterior delivers a confident hit of colour. Switch on the light and the hidden florals begin to glow through the cotton, creating a beautifully layered silhouette and revealing the pattern within.
Handmade to order in our Totnes studio, this shade is available in three sizes and can be made for a table lamp, floor lamp or ceiling pendant.

Info
Love Frankie Silhouette lampshades keep their best bit beautifully hidden. A plain cotton exterior conceals an abundant patterned lining, creating two completely different looks in one rather clever lampshade. Unlit, the shade delivers a clean block of colour with a glorious print waiting inside. Switch on the light and the hidden pattern begins to reveal itself through the cotton.
THE SILHOUETTE EFFECT:
The silhouette effect is strongest through lighter-coloured cottons. Darker outer colours create a more subtle, atmospheric glow, while the patterned lining remains beautifully visible from underneath the shade.

FITTINGS:
Choose between a Lamp or Ceiling Pendant fitting when ordering.
Lamp: The ring fitting sits approximately 4cm up from the bottom of the shade.
Ceiling Pendant: The ring fitting sits approximately 4cm down from the top of the shade.
Using an arc floor lamp? Please select the Ceiling Pendant option so the fitting sits at the top.

PATTERN PLACEMENT:
Each patterned lining is individually cut from a larger design. Pattern placement will vary naturally between lampshades, making every finished shade slightly different.
SAMPLES:
Colours, patterns and textures can appear differently across computer and mobile screens. We recommend requesting a free fabric or wallpaper sample before ordering, particularly if you are matching your shade to an existing colour scheme.
A maximum of five free samples may be ordered per customer. Postage charges apply.

LAMPSHADE SPECIFICATIONS
Every Love Frankie lampshade is handmade to order in our UK workshop. Here's everything you need to know about fittings, sizing, materials and bulbs before ordering.
LAMPSHADE FITTINGS
Our standard lampshades use a 39mm UK/EU ring fitting and include a reducer ring for 29mm fittings, making them suitable for most standard UK and European lamps and flex sets.
For most designs, you can choose:
Lamp: the ring fitting sits approximately 4cm up from the bottom of the shade.
Ceiling Pendant: the ring fitting sits approximately 4cm down from the top of the shade.
Using an arc floor lamp? Choose the Ceiling Pendant option so the fitting sits at the top.
American harp and lampshade carrier fittings are available on selected designs by request. Please contact us before ordering if you need a specialist fitting.

Our lampshade dimensions are shown in both centimetres and inches.

FABRIC & WALLPAPER SAMPLES
Colours, textures and tones can vary between screens, so we recommend ordering a sample if you're trying to match a particular colour or interior scheme.
You can order up to five free fabric or wallpaper samples, with postage charged separately. Simply look out for the yellow ORDER FABRIC SAMPLE button on your favourite shades.

METALLIC FOIL LININGS
Our gold and copper foil lined lampshades are constructed using three layers: metallic foil, lampshade PVC and your chosen outer fabric or wallpaper.
This opaque construction prevents light from passing through the sides of the shade. Instead, light reflects from the metallic interior, creating a warm, directional glow from the top and bottom.
Larger lampshades have wider openings and will naturally allow more light into the room.
FRINGED LAMPSHADES
Our fringes are available in different lengths depending on the design.
The dimensions shown for the lampshade itself do not include the fringe, so please check the individual product details for the fringe length before ordering.
BULBS
We recommend using LED bulbs with our lampshades.
The correct bulb type and maximum wattage will depend on your lamp base or ceiling fitting, so always check the manufacturer's instructions.
Our lampshade ring fitting does not determine which bulb you need. The bulb is determined by the lamp holder or flex set you're using.

Every Love Frankie lampshade is handmade to order in our UK workshop. Our production time varies throughout the year, so please check the banner at the top of the website for our current lampshade lead time.

All other in-stock items are usually dispatched within 3–5 working days, unless otherwise stated on the product page.

Returns
We hope you love your Love Frankie order, but if something isn't quite right, standard products purchased through our website can normally be returned.
Please contact us within 14 days of receiving your order to let us know you'd like to make a return.
Our standard online lampshades can be returned, even though they're handmade to order. However, bespoke, personalised or specially commissioned items cannot normally be returned unless faulty.
Return postage is the responsibility of the customer unless your item is faulty or damaged.
