Winnie - Vintage Fringed Dome Lampshade in Magic Fruits with Green Fringe

Winnie is the lush one.
Her vintage dome is wrapped in Magic Fruits Tropical velvet, a fantastical tangle of teal leaves, rich greens, tropical blooms and jewel-like berries against a deep, moody ground. Emerald braid traces her sweeping curves before falling into a curtain of long green fringe.
It is botanical, theatrical and just the right amount of kooky.
The traditional domed shape gives all that psychedelic foliage a little vintage parlour glamour, while the rich green fringe swishes underneath like it has somewhere important to be. Turn the light on and the velvet takes on even more depth, shifting subtly as the pile catches the glow.
Handmade to order by us in our Totnes studio, Winnie is carefully constructed and finished by hand with generous 14cm fringe. No two shades will feature the pattern in exactly the same way, making every Winnie a little tropical world of her own.
Ideal for colour-soaked bedrooms, maximalist living rooms and anyone who believes a lamp should be considerably more interesting than the table it is standing on.

Winnie is handmade using Magic Fruits velvet, filled with teal and green tropical foliage, colourful botanicals and jewel-like berries. The vintage dome is finished with green braid and long emerald fringe.

FRINGE
The green fringe measures approximately 14cm long and is not included in the shade dimensions. It is designed to hang freely and will move and swish as you pass.
FITTINGS
- For a ceiling pendant, a spider fitting suitable for standard UK and EU flex sets will be included.
- For a table or floor lamp, a shade carrier suitable for standard UK and EU lamp holders will be included.
- For lamps with an American-style harp, select the USA harp option and an appropriate spider fitting will be included.
Please select the required size and fitting direction when ordering. Lamp bases and flex sets shown in our photography are not included.
BULBS
We recommend using an LED bulb. The correct bulb type and maximum wattage will depend on your lamp base or ceiling fitting, so please check the manufacturer's guidance.
FABRIC SAMPLES
Colours and textures can vary between screens. If you are matching Joni to a particular room or colour scheme, we recommend ordering a Rainforest velvet sample before purchasing.

LAMPSHADE SPECIFICATIONS
Every Love Frankie lampshade is handmade to order in our UK workshop. Here's everything you need to know about fittings, sizing, materials and bulbs before ordering.
LAMPSHADE FITTINGS
Our standard lampshades use a 39mm UK/EU ring fitting and include a reducer ring for 29mm fittings, making them suitable for most standard UK and European lamps and flex sets.
For most designs, you can choose:
Lamp: the ring fitting sits approximately 4cm up from the bottom of the shade.
Ceiling Pendant: the ring fitting sits approximately 4cm down from the top of the shade.
Using an arc floor lamp? Choose the Ceiling Pendant option so the fitting sits at the top.
American harp and lampshade carrier fittings are available on selected designs by request. Please contact us before ordering if you need a specialist fitting.

FABRIC & WALLPAPER SAMPLES
Colours, textures and tones can vary between screens, so we recommend ordering a sample if you're trying to match a particular colour or interior scheme.
You can order up to five free fabric or wallpaper samples, with postage charged separately. Simply look out for the yellow ORDER FABRIC SAMPLE button on your favourite shades.

METALLIC FOIL LININGS
Our gold and copper foil lined lampshades are constructed using three layers: metallic foil, lampshade PVC and your chosen outer fabric or wallpaper.
This opaque construction prevents light from passing through the sides of the shade. Instead, light reflects from the metallic interior, creating a warm, directional glow from the top and bottom.
Larger lampshades have wider openings and will naturally allow more light into the room.
FRINGED LAMPSHADES
Our fringes are available in different lengths depending on the design.
The dimensions shown for the lampshade itself do not include the fringe, so please check the individual product details for the fringe length before ordering.
BULBS
We recommend using LED bulbs with our lampshades.
The correct bulb type and maximum wattage will depend on your lamp base or ceiling fitting, so always check the manufacturer's instructions.
Our lampshade ring fitting does not determine which bulb you need. The bulb is determined by the lamp holder or flex set you're using.

Every Love Frankie lampshade is handmade to order in our UK workshop. Our production time varies throughout the year, so please check the banner at the top of the website for our current lampshade lead time.

Returns
We hope you love your Love Frankie order, but if something isn't quite right, standard products purchased through our website can normally be returned.
Please contact us within 14 days of receiving your order to let us know you'd like to make a return.
Our standard online lampshades can be returned, even though they're handmade to order. However, bespoke, personalised or specially commissioned items cannot normally be returned unless faulty.
Return postage is the responsibility of the customer unless your item is faulty or damaged.
