The Love Frankie House Launch Party – What. A. Night!

If we could bottle the feeling from our launch party on Saturday 2nd August, we’d be rich, deliriously happy, and probably still dancing. What a day, what a night, and what a way to celebrate The Love Frankie House finally opening its doors in the heart of Totnes!

First and foremost, a massive thank you to everyone who joined us. Whether you’ve been with us since our first tiny lampshade days or you stumbled in for the first time lured by the sound of disco beats and the promise of a free cocktail – you made our launch party unforgettable.

Our friends at Bar Buoy were absolute stars, serving up delicious welcome drinks that set the tone for the rest of the night. Judging by the smiling faces and empty glasses, they were very much enjoyed.

Then the DJs took over. We don’t want to exaggerate (okay, maybe just a bit), but the shop floor was shaking. Dancing in the aisles, twirling between the lampshades, and more than one impromptu singalong – the music was going off, and we loved every second of it.

One of the most heartwarming parts of the night was seeing so many familiar faces from our Love Frankie journey – alongside plenty of new ones we hope will become lifelong members of our colourful little family. Totnes really showed up for us, and we felt the love in every hug, every conversation, and every clink of a cocktail glass.

Upstairs, our brand-new multi-purpose event space had its debut outing with our first ever Makers Market – and it was a huge success. We had some incredible independent makers showcasing their work, and the buzz in the room was brilliant.

We also had some great chats with visitors about all the ways the space can be used. So, here’s the invite:
If you’re a creative, maker, or organiser, we’d love to collaborate! We’re looking for like-minded folk to run workshops, supper clubs, pop-up shops, markets, movie nights, galleries, and more.

The space is also available to hire for photoshoots or as a co-working space.
